Next Thursday, 28th January, from 9:00 to 11:00 am (Canary Islands time) a new webinar of the European project CAPonLITTER (Capitalising good coastal practices and improving policies to prevent marine litter) will take place. The aim of the webinar is to progress in the identification for solutions that contribute to prevent marine litter on the littoral of Fuerteventura, mainly from activities linked to tourism or recreational activities carried out in coastal areas.
The event, which will be held online, is part of the actions of this Interreg Europe project, whose Spanish partner is the ECOAQUA University Institute (University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria), in coordination with the Department of Environment, Fight against Climate Change, Circular Economy and RD&i of the Fuerteventura Island Council.
The working session will be developed with a participatory methodology, building on the exchange of experiences in the interregional learning events that are being developed in the framework of CAPonLITTER. To this end, support and consultation material will be provided to registered participants prior to the working sessions.
