International Conference: "From the collaborative economy to sustainable tourism: The new tourism law of the 21st century"

Description

At the present time, it is not possible to say that the tourism sector is in the middle of a transformation process. An evolution that cannot unknown its economic potential, but that must be lined up with the new environmental perspectives whose measures are marked by the 2030 Agenda, the SDGs or the European Agenda for Tourism 2030, to name some of the most relevant documents.

In this context and in order to encourage reflection and discuss, the Commercial Law Department of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is organizing the International Congress "From Collaborative Economy to Sustainable Tourism: The New Tourism Law of the 21st Century", which will take place at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on March 30th and 31st.

Within the framework of this discussion forum, we will have the participation of notable specialists in the field, who will discuss the subject from a dual perspective, both from the field of public law and from the prism of private law. Thus, we will have three panels oriented to: (i) Consumers, entrepreneurs and intermediary platforms; (ii) The intervention of Public Administrations; and, (iii) Tax, criminal and international challenges.
